اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَمِينَ اللَّهِ فِي أَرْضِهِ وَحُجَّتَهُ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ، اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ جَاهَدْتَ فِي اللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ، وَعَمِلْتَ بِكِتَابِهِ، وَاتَّبَعْتَ سُنَنَ نَبِيِّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ
Peace be upon you, O Trustee of Allah on His earth and His proof over His servants. Peace be upon you, O Commander of the Faithful. I bear witness that you strove in the way of Allah as it truly deserved to be striven, and you acted according to His Book, and you followed the ways of His Prophet, may Allah bless him and his family.
أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ وَفَيْتَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ، وَبَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَاتِهِ، وَمَضَيْتَ لِلَّذِي كُنْتَ عَلَيْهِ شَهِيدًا وَشَاهِدًا وَمَشْهُودًا، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ الْإِمَامُ الْبَارُّ التَّقِيُّ الرَّضِيُّ الزَّكِيُّ الْهَادِي الْمَهْدِيُّ
I bear witness that you fulfilled the covenant of Allah, conveyed His messages, and departed upon what you stood for — as a witness, a testifier, and one testified to. And I bear witness that you are the Imam: the righteous, the pious, the approved, the pure, the guide, the rightly guided.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ أَيَّدْتَهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ وَجَعَلْتَهُ حُجَّتَكَ عَلَى خَلْقِكَ مِنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ، اَللَّهُمَّ فَاجْعَلْ نَفْسِي مُطْمَئِنَّةً بِقَدَرِكَ، رَاضِيَةً بِقَضَائِكَ، مُولَعَةً بِذِكْرِكَ وَدُعَائِكَ
O Allah, You supported him with the Holy Spirit and made him Your proof over Your creation, from the first to the last. O Allah, make my soul tranquil with Your decree, satisfied with Your judgment, devoted to Your remembrance and supplication.
وَاجْعَلْنِي مِمَّنْ يَنْتَصِرُ لَكَ مِمَّنْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِكَ وَجَحَدَ بِرُسُلِكَ، إِنَّكَ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ شَدِيدٍ، يَا أَمِينَ اللَّهِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ
And make me among those who seek Your vindication against those who denied Your signs and rejected Your messengers. Indeed You are possessed of severe retribution. O Trustee of Allah, intercede for us with your Lord.
